Our Mission

Our mission is to pursue justice by holding offenders accountable while recognizing the difference between those who can be rehabilitated and those who must be removed from our society.

For non-violent offenders, we take a firm but constructive approach-
We use tools like Intervention Courts (drug court), Pre-Trial Diversion, and supervised probation to enforce accountability while providing a real chance for rehabilitation. These are not soft options; they are structured, demanding programs that require commitment and change. When successful, they reduce recidivism and help individuals return to society as productive citizens.

For violent offenders, we seek strong, consistent consequences to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law.
These include individuals who commit acts of violence, such as murder, sexual assault, crimes against children, gang-related crimes, drug trafficking, and those habitual offenders who repeatedly violate the law. Their actions show a disregard for human life and community safety, and they must be separated from the public to prevent further harm.

Through this balanced approach, we aim to reduce crime, support victims, and help build a safer future for everyone.
