Lashonda Mathis

LaShonda Mathis, MSW  graduated from Moss Point High School in 1993, with an Advanced Diploma. She served in the United States Army for eight years. During her time in the military, LaShonda received the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Overseas Service Medal. In 2002, she earned an Associate Degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. LaShonda also earned her Bachelor Degree in College of Education and Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2010 and a Master of Social Work Degree from Walden University in 2019. LaShonda has experience working and serving the community in the field of mental health. She has worked for Singing River Services Mental Health as a Case Manager and is certified through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health. LaShonda has also worked for the Mississippi Department of Human Services in Jackson County as a Family Protection Worker. LaShonda and her family are members of Infinity Church The Apostolic Assembly, Biloxi, MS.
