Elliot Burch


Elliot received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from William Carey University in 2007. After graduating, he began working as a Deputy Sheriff at the George County Sheriff’s Department and then as an Agent with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN). As an Agent with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Elliot worked complex investigations—including undercover operations, electronic wire intercepts (wiretaps), and organized crime. Elliot was assigned as a Task Force Officer with the FBI and gained significant experience in federal investigations. While at the FBI, Elliot conducted investigations related to civil rights violations, white collar crime, and public corruption. Elliot also worked as a criminal investigator at the District Attorney’s Office for the Nineteenth Judicial District. In December 2016, he graduated with honors from Mississippi College School of Law and is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Mississippi. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s office in January of 2019, Elliot was engaged in private practice and represented clients both in civil and criminal litigation. Elliot resides in Leakesville with his wife, Brittany, and their three children.
