Nikki Huffman


Nicole Collins Huffman (“Nikki”) joined the District Attorney’s Office on March 1, 2022, after a nearly 18-year civil defense career. While in private practice, Nikki served as Vice President of Litigation for a national senior care provider, as well as litigated False Claims Act matters, state and federal appeals, and other complex claims. 

Nikki is a 2000 magna cum laude graduate of the University of West Florida where she was a John C. Pace Scholar. She is also a 2004 magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi College School of Law.  In law school, Nikki was a member of the law review, and the moot court board, and was a Hearin-Hess Scholar, and STAR mentor. She graduated in the top ten of her class.  

Nikki’s desire to serve the citizens of Jackson, George, and Greene's counties led her to pivot her career. She is married to George Huffman, an experienced Assistant District Attorney serving Harrison, Hancock, and Stone counties.
