Golf Course

Whispering Pines is the ideal mix for golfers - a challenging 18 hole course but at reasonable rates. Our 72 par course is 6,392 yards long with Southern Pines quietly guarding the pin on every hole. The course is set quaintly on the east side of Jackson County, MS near the state line.

Whispering Pines is proudly operated by the Jackson County Board of Supervisors and managed by our Recreation Department. The course is open seven days a week and features - a driving range, club house, snack bar and grill, monthly specials, and pro lessons.

  • Green Fee: $14
  • Cart Fee: $14

18 Hole

Friday through Sunday

  • Green Fee: $16
  • Cart Fee: $16

9 Holes

  • Green Fee: $10
  • Cart Fee: $10

Players' Quarterly Fees

  • Seniors (55 years and older): $125
  • Singles (Monday through Friday): $150
  • Student (Monday through Friday): $65
  • Add dependent to plan - 18 or under or spouse (Monday through Friday): $50
  • 16 and Under: Free
